Chelsea Agrees €100m Deal With Shakhtar Donetsk For Arsenal Target Mudryk

Chelsea is close to completing Mykhaylo Mudryk transfer after the Stamford Bridge outfit agreed a €100m deal with Shakhtar Donetsk on Saturday, according to reports.

The West London club and the Ukrainian club agreed on a €70 million plus €30 million add-ons deal, with the player set to sign a 7-year deal, reports David Ornstein of the Athletic.

Mudryk is already on a plane flying to London in order to discuss the details of the deal and pass his medical, with Arsenal’s position on the transfer not changing, reports transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The 22-year-old has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 12 league matches for Shakhtar this season.

He also scored three goals and provided two assists in six Champions League games this season, as Shakhtar crashed out of the competition.

He has already played eight times for the Ukraine national team after debuting last year.

Mudryk, a fast winger, will be looking to provide options for Chelsea as the club struggles with injuries to their first-team players.

The deal is expected to be wrapped up this weekend as he looks to debut against Liverpool next Saturday.

The London club also tabled a €30 offer to PSV Eindhoven yesterday to secure the services of British-born Nigerian attacker Noni Madueke to bolster their ranks.
