Leverkusen is currently unbeaten in the Bundesliga after twenty-two matches and sits eight points clear of second-placed Bayern Munich. Boniface’s impressive performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, including Chelsea, who are keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. The Blues are reportedly on the lookout for a new central-striking option and have identified Boniface as a potential target.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea is willing to pay the €40m (£34.2m) transfer fee that Leverkusen has placed on the young Nigerian striker.
