Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central has taken to his verified twitter page to say two people are in detention, while ex-ministers, ex-governors, and others are not called to account.
The outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter to condemn appointing or rewarding former governors who looted their respective states.
According to Shehu Sani, he said rewarding or appointing former governors who looted their respective states and left their people in their states in poverty and debt into office will be most unconscionable to think of.
Shehu Sani made it known in his statement that it was only two people in detention; former CBN governor, Emefiele and former EFCC chairman, Bawa.
On that note, Shehu Sani concluded his statement that this does not send a good signal about the new government if members of the defunct cabal, former ministers, and former Governors of the previous administration were not called to account.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
“It will be most unconscionable to think of rewarding or appointing former Governors who looted their states and left their people in poverty and debt into office. Two people in detention while the members of the defunct cabal, ex ministers and ex Governors are not called to account doesn’t send a good signal about a new dawn.”
