Islamic Cleric Who Asked Muslims To Kill Tinubu’s Wife Verbally Abused Amid Apologies
Idris Tenshi, the Islamic cleric who declared that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu deserves to die for being a pastor hasn’t been forgiven in some quarters despite apologizing over his comments.
Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna Governor, reacted publicly to his comments on Friday, and verbally abused him.
Bello, who is serving as a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, said on Channels TV that he wishes the DSS doesn’t accept Idris’ apologies.
Bello El-Rufai said: “There’s an idiot cleric who wishes the First Lady to dies, I wish the DSS are not accepting his apology, the north we have problems, we’re overpopulated, we’re undereducated. Bandits are not Muslims they love their cows and they are not praying.”

Recall that myriad of Nigerians had called on the Department of State Services, DSS, to arrest and question the Islamic cleric.
In a viral video, the cleric is heard saying the Muslim/Muslim ticket that brought President Bola Tinubu to power was a scam and that the wife of the president, “being an infidel should be put to death as provided for in the Quran”.
“Now, Tinubu, his wife is an infidel. As an infidel, she is a leader among the infidels.
“God’s judgement says she must be killed. She’s a pastor… a leader of infidels (Christians); Allah says they must be killed…,” he said. CONTINUE READING
