Admit You Rigged 2023 Presidential Election, Atiku Tells President Tinubu, APC

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has urged President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress to admit that they rigged the poll.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku, Phrank Shaibu.
In the statement, Atiku praised the European Union Election Monitoring Group for stating in its report that the last election was indeed fraught with electoral irregularities and failed to meet the minimum standard of credibility.
Atiku also lambasted Bola Tinubu and his spokesman, Dele Alake, for trying to discredit the EU’s report.
According to the statement, even the dead knew that the last election lacked credibility and even the Independent National Electoral Commission had been unable to explain why nearly five months after the election, it had refused to upload the full results on its result viewing portal.
China warships arrive Nigeria

Three Chinese warships have arrived the Port of Lagos with nearly a battalion of soldiers with the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria saying the visit was to ensure the improvement of diplomatic relations between Nigeria and China.
Speaking at a ceremony to receive the vessels, the Chinese Ambassador, CUI Jianchun,said the relations between the two countries have deepened and efforts were on to broaden the military relations between the two countries.
He said that the visit of the ships demonstrated the harmony between Nigeria and China, adding that the visit of the warships was for peace, especially as Nigeria and China could work together for peace in the sub-region and for the international community.He said that the Nigerian military, and China’s PLA, could work together to overcome obstacles plaguing the two countries and deepen the relations between both countries’ navies.
He said, “the visit is to further deepen the relationship the two countries have with one another and also seek to strengthen and improve our relationship and cooperation with each other.
“This visit demonstrates the harmony and symphony between Nigeria and China,” he said.
The ambassador said that China and Nigeria would continue to work together and promote peace and harmony, while seeking ways to make contributions to the international community.

Foundation for Economic Advocacy Advancement (FFEAA) has decried a recent press release by the Coalition of West African Investigative Journalists (COWAFIJ) against the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) under Engr Salihijo Ahmad.
FFEAA, in a statement signed by its national publicity officer, Mr Dolapo Olanrewaju described the entire press conference by COWAFIJ as an attempt at ridiculing the giant strides of REA.
The foundation described COWAFIJ as an arm of the opposition committed to making mockery of the advancement of the federal government in the power sector and reminded the naysayers of the intensification of World Bank in providing alternative sources of power for rural electrification in Nigeria, through an additional commitment of $750million grant to Nigeria.
Tinubu to reward Wike with ministerial appointment for rigging polls – Atiku’s aide alleges

Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has accused President Bola Tinubu of planning to reward the immediate past Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike with a ministerial appointment.
Shaibu said the ministerial appointment was to appreciate Wike for rigging the presidential election in Rivers State to favour Tinubu.
He insisted that the results in states like Rivers showed that the last presidential election was far from credible.
