Sowunmi stated this at a virtual interactive session with the members of the League of Yoruba Media Practitioners (LYMP), a group of media professionals, who ply their trade in the Yoruba indigenous language.

According to the former spokesman of the Abubakar Atiku 2019 Presidential Campaign, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku has a overwhelming evidence to back up his petition before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PREPEC) and his chances of winning is bright.

When asked to assess the government of President Bola Tinubu and whether a government of national unity is desirable, Sowunmi said: “The eight million votes garnered by Tinubu during the last election is not enough for him to succeed as a president, he needs to avoid the mistakes of his predecessor and bring everyone together, irrespective of their ethnic, religion or political background.
