The Former Governor of Edo State and the Senator representing the people of Edo North Senatorial Zone, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, has recalled how President Tinubu said that those who said “Edo no be Lagos” will be alive when he will become president.
Speaking further, Adams Oshiomhole made it known that Tinubu will not only make Edo State to be like Lagos, but better than Lagos State. He went on and urged his supporters to tell those individuals who says “Edo no be Lagos” and that Tinubu can’t control them that Tinubu is presently the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.
Adams Oshiomhole reportedly made this disclosure during the post inauguration/thank-you party hosted in his honour by friends and well wishers at his country home, Iyamho, Etsako, Edo, on Saturday, Premium Times paper reported.
He said: “Tinubu said those who say Edo no be Lagos will be alive when he becomes president. He will not only make Edo like Lagos but better than Lagos. So my people, those who say ‘Edo no be Lagos, Tinubu cannot control us,’ please tell them Tinubu is now Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces.”
Furthermore, Senator Oshiomhole noted that there were sitting governors who contested for Senate across the country and lost, but he left office seven years ago, and his people still honoured me with victory.
In addition, he made it known that in each of these six local governments areas and in every ward in his area, himself and Bola Ahmed Tinubu won, noting that he will proudly carry the result to Tinubu and present his certificate to him and also informed him that Edo people voted for him.
