NLC/TUC: Senator Ben Murray-Bruce reacts to the ongoing nationwide strike action
A Chieftain of People Democratic Party (PDP) and former federal lawmaker who represented Bayelsa East Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has reacted to the ongoing nationwide industrial action declared by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).
Senator Murray-Bruce took to his official X, formerly Twitter, handle to react to the ongoing nationwide strike action.
“A nationwide strike now because of an isolated incident in just one state that is already being addressed is not in Nigeria’s interest.”

The former lawmaker said further that, “Power must not be used to settle scores. Instead, it must be used to promote the shores of our economic and democratic progress.”
He called on the Organised Labour to be rational and put the national interest in mind and let peace reigns.
