Sharing one of their memories together, Laoye posted a clip of an impromptu rendition of ‘Oghene Doh’ (Thank you Jesus) on Instagram.

She said that things are really not the same without the late Okposo but she just has to keep going.
“God is still good and We say Thank YOU LORD in the midst of it all,” she added.
The late Okposo was laid to rest on Thursday December 16, 2022 at a private cemetery in Ikoyi after a Church service. The senior pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, alongside the lead pastor at The L.O.G.I.C (Love Of God In Christ) Church, Flourish Peters officiated the ceremony.
The burial of Mr Okposo, was attended by his colleagues, family and friends. The week-long funeral ceremony was wrapped up on Sunday, December 19, 2022 with an outing service at The Logic Church, Lekki, Lagos.
The late singer was known for his Sammie Okposo Praise Party (SOPP) live concert. He held the last edition in November, days before his sudden demise.
