Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant, went live on Facebook in the early hours of today to discuss his background.

“I have never denied being an Igbo man,” remarked Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo. You can see interviews I gave over 10 years ago on networks television and NTA to confirm that I have always said I had Igbo blood pouring through my veins. Uzodinma is my Igbo surname, which I acquired from my father. I even went to Ohafia to marry an Igbo woman and called my baby Uzodinma.”

Further, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo stated, “As Igbos, we must ask ourselves why people are gravitating towards Yoruba lands rather than Igbo lands.We need to work on ourselves and cease living in self-denial.”

Finally, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo stated, “Previously, I had forty percent Igbo blood flowing in my vein, but it has now increased to 75 percent.”
