Manchester United goalkeeper, Tom Heaton will not be part of the team’s opening match on Monday as the club will be playing against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Officials of Manchester United announced his absence giving a reason that he has suffered an injury at the training ground. According to Manchester United, “Tom Heaton is out of Manchester United’s Premier League season opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Monday. The experienced goalkeeper sustained an injury in training that is still being assessed but he is expected to be unavailable for the first few weeks of the season.
Manchester United will have to rely on its newly signed goalkeeper, Andre Onana who the club just completed his £47.2m signing from Inter Milan.
Onana signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford with the option of a further year, as he replaces the departed David De Gea, who left the club after 12 years as the club’s first-choice stopper…Continue Reading
