Late Adegoke’s wife reacts, over judgement handed to her husband’s killers

According to a news that was published by The Nation Newspaper online this morning, it was reported that Mrs. Bolatito Adegoke, who happens to be the wife of the late Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) postgraduate student, Timothy Adegoke, yesterday, said that she had lost hope of getting justice, but the death sentence on his killers restored it.

But, on Tuesday, the presiding Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Oyebola Ojo, convicted and sentenced Dr..Rahmon Adedoyin, the hotel’s manager Adeniyi Aderogba, and its supervisor Oyetunde Kazeem to death by hanging for Adegoke’s death. Also, the hotel’s receptionist, whose name was given as Adesola Adedeji, bagged two years imprisonment, for altering receipts, while three other defendants were discharged and acquitted, as they were found innocent.

However, while she was reacting to the judgment, Mrs. Adegoke told The Nation Newspaper correspondent on the phone that, the murder tested her faith in God, but the judgment restored it and gave her family relief.

She said, she was very glad over the judgment of the court, on the people who killed her husband.

She said, “God has given us, the family of Adegoke, succor to rejoice. I had lost hope in justice and I doubted the existence of God but, my faith in Him has been rekindled again.”

Further talking, he said that since the death of her husband, she had not been mentally stable, but with the judgment of the court, she was happy and glad.
