To further demonstrate inclusivity and unity, Shettima explained that he intentionally appointed an Igbo man of the Catholic faith as his Chief Security Officer and a Northern Christian as his Aide-de-Camp (ADC). These decisions aimed to showcase the diverse composition of his administration and dispel any concerns about religious bias.

Shettima also mentioned that the APC nominated Godswill Akpabio, a Christian Southerner, for the position of Senate President to ensure a balance in the religious affiliations of top officials within the incoming administration.
