Last night, former niger-delta militant, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo, went live on Facebook to make clarifications after he was accused of threatening igbos through a viral short video.

The Kalabari kingdom’s chief said, “I did not threaten igbos with a gun like they are saying. It is actually a false narrative. I don’t know why after they listened to that video of mine, all they could make of it was a threat by me.”

Speaking further, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “they said I made the video a day after I went to see President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu – that is also a lie. It was made ten months ago I made the video and it was not addressed to igbos at all.”

Lastly, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “it is just painful that a negligible few people will come public to say they are speaking for the igbos. These spokespersons keep attacking Wole Soyinka, Sultan of Sokoto and other notable personalities and are being praised for doing so. These are things I have never done and will never do.”
