During RCCG Thanksgiving Service (July 2, 2023), Pastor E. A. Adeboye narrated a story on how God used a mad man to answer his prayer. He said his mother was old and was looking for someone who will keep her company.
According to Pastor Adeboye from the video (1:44:35): “When my mother grew old, all my sisters got married and I had my own calling. I was her favourite. Each time I went to see her, she is so happy. She keeps repeating same story each time I visit her and when I want to leave, I feel her agony. I prayed to God to help me out.
“There was a mad man that was terrorizing people in that area. One day, he saw a lady and chased her. The lady ran with one of her child and left the other. The mad man got to the little child and broke his hand. The mad man still chased the lady who ran into my house where my mum lived. Suddenly, the mad man stopped.
“The lady said since the mad man couldn’t enter the house, there must be something special about the house. She decided to live there with my mum. That was how God answered my prayer using a mad man. This week, God will answer you prayers in Jesus name, amen”.
