The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, during the just concluded presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has noted that even primary school children who didn’t vote during the election know that Bold Tinubu rigged the election and that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, failed woefully in the conduct of the election.
Speaking further, Atiku Abubakar made it known that the presidential election that was held on February 25, 2023 and uptill July 2, 2023, the entire election results are yet to be uploaded fully on the INEC IReV portal, despite the fact that the 2023 election was the most expensive in the history of Nigeria and West Africa.
Atiku Abubakar made this disclosure in a statement he released, while countering Dele Alake’s statement against EU Election Observers report on the 2023 general election, The Sun paper reported.
Atiku Abubakar said: “Even primary school children who did not vote know that INEC failed woefully and that Tinubu rigged the last election. The presidential election held on February 25, 2023 and yet as of July 2, 2023, the result of the election has not been fully uploaded.”
Furthermore, the former Nigeria’s Vice President demanding to know how a sane human being will describe the just concluded presidential election as credible, when all the results have not been uploaded five months after the conduct of the said election.
Atiku Abubakar went on and slammed Tinubu, for allegedly planning to appoint the Ex Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as a minister, in order to reward him, thereby describing Tinubu’s move as shameful.
In addition, Atiku Abubakar called on the United States and the United Kingdom to speed up the process of imposing visa bans on election riggers in Nigeria. He also urged the United States and the UK governments to reveal the identities of those implicated in election rigging, most especially staff of INEC and members of All Progressives Congress.
