Chris Nwandu, Publisher, CKN , said that on the European Union final report and the criticism of the government over that report, people should not expect government not to say so because they are the beneficiary of that election.

Chris Nwandu made the statement in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program when he was asked to air his view on the criticism of the federal government on EU report and the reply of Labour Party to the federal government as well as CSO.

Recall that yesterday, the federal government rejected the report of the EU, calling it a “a poorly-done desk job” and as well pleaded that EU should allow Nigeria breath.

However, Chris said that is EU telling us anything new, and is Nigerians surprised? He said there is nothing new that the EU presented in their final report that is new to those who participated in the 2023 election. He said practically all those who participated in the election and the CSOs after the election gave similar report, however,

“You don’t expect the government to say otherwise after all they are the beneficiary of that ‘flawed’ election, I will call it flawed election, which is also being contested.
