The Gunners announced the signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea last week on a five-year-deal.
The German is unveiled as Arsenal’s first signing of the 2023 summer and the arrivals of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are expected to follow suite.

Defence
English international and former Sheffield United and Bournemouth shotstopper, Aaron Ramsdale, remains Mikel Arteta’s most trusted man between the sticks and should assume his number spot at North London next season.
The arrival of Jurrien Timber from Ajax has not been announced and it is yet to be seen which position Mikel Arteta might deploy him at the Emirates stadium next season.
However, former Brighton defender, Ben White, should retain his spot at right back ahead of Japanese international, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Zinchenko cannot be ignored at left-back.
The pairing of French international, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes should continue at North London to complete Mikel Arteta’s preferred back four.
Midfield
With Thomas Partey sold out and Granit Xhaka edging closer to a £15m transfer away from Arsenal, Mikel Arteta could field a new found trio at the Emirates stadium next season.
Martin Odegaard, certainly will start alongside former Napoli anchorman, Jorginho but Kai Havertz should make the starting XI ahead of Leandro Trossard and Fabio Viera.
A midfield trio of Martin Odegaard, Jorginho and Kai Havertz, where the German international is expected to operate as a No.8.
Attack
Leandro Trossard has been in scintillating form since his arrival in January but hasn’t done enough to break into Arsenal’s starting XI, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli still present and firing at all angles.
