Anger In Osun Over Governor Adeleke’s Lagos Holiday

The people of Osun State have expressed their disappointment over the decision of their new governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, to embark on, what they called, “provocative holiday” to Lagos State just less than 3 weeks in the life of his administration.

The visibly angry citizens who shared their dismayed remarks on their social media handles called the new governor unprintable names including a “lazy bone who sees government as an avenue to fulfil his appetite and lust for Owanbe and show-off.”

According to one of them, “which responsible governor would leave the precincts of his state and travel miles to Lagos State, when state civil servants and pensioners are hungry and yet to be paid their December Salary? Is that not callous? I am sure Osun people didn’t bargain for this leader who is in short supply of discretion and good judgement. No governor in the history of the state has been associated with this crude public display of vanity and vain-glory.”

The news of Governor Adeleke’s holidaying in Lagos was shared by Dele Momodu, a bosom friend of the governor, through his Instagram handle @ delemomoduovation and it has garnered huge scathing reactions.
