Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has hinted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would not dare investigate former President Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that doing so would cause the former governor of Lagos’ administration to deteriorate.
Primate Ayodele had said, “This government will do better than Buhari’s administration, but what they need to do about the previous government, they won’t be able to do it, because if they do, it will run down their government.”
Ayodele reportedly stated that Tinubu would not be able to investigate Buhari’s administration because it would spell ruin for him. The Spiritual Leader suggested that there might be abnormalities in Buhari’s administration, but he believed that Tinubu would not dare take any action to look into it. He believed that the former Lagos governor will perform better than Buhari while serving as president.
Ayodele, who had before denounced Tinubu and argued that the former governor of Lagos was not God’s chosen for the nation, has since changed his position and declared his admiration for the former governor of Lagos. Even though he had previously stated that Nigeria would wish Buhari had stayed in office when Tinubu took office, he now claims that the former governor of Lagos will perform better than the outgoing president.
Ayodele went on to label Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as agitators who would never be president.
