A Former Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Chukwuemeka Eze has admonished Mr. Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State to fully take charge of his official duties as his predecessor, Mr. Wike Nyesom was still meddling in the State’s affairs.
He made this known of recent while emphasizing that Fubara would be held responsible for every happenings that had occured under his administration right from the time he was sworn into office.
In summary, he said: ” It is public knowledge that Wike has reappointed some Commissioners who worked under him to continue with Fubara. As it is, no financial transaction takes place in the government without Wike’s knowledge and approval. In fact, he still decides how much should go to each local government from the State’s share of the federal allocation. Aside from sharing the monthly security vote with Fubara, Wike decides how much the temporary Governor gets in a month. Fubara should brace up, tackle Wike’s crude desperation and take full charge of the government for the very short time he would be serving as Governor “.
