Wike declares war on Ayu over suspension of G5 loyalists
Rivers state Goveror, Nyesom Wike has expressed his dissatisfaction at the national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu over his recent suspension of some party members.
Wike noted that the suspension of a G-5 loyalist will not help the Peoples Democratic Party in the upcoming election.
According to the Rivers governor, the battle lines have been drawn as he vows to challenge Ayu’s actions in court.

He added that he and his cronies in the PDP have gone beyond that kind of decision.
“Your suspending people will not help you in any way. The battle line has been fully drawn. As I speak to you, we will do everything legally possible to challenge any decision that we know is illegal,” Wike said.
The leader of the G-5 governors stated that they believe in the rule of law and the party’s constitution.
However, he said that Ayu’s current illegal move will create more troubles for the party as they plan their next line of action.
