The former Governor of Ekiti State and a staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ayodele Fayose, has revealed that he foresaw that the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari would not better Nigeria; as he recounted how he told Nigerians that the former President would not do well as President.
Ayodele Fayose had said, “When President Buhari was to come, from day one, i made it very clear that the President would not do well.”

Fayose, who spoke at a press conference in Abuja, recounted how he foresaw that former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration would not better Nigeria. According to him, he had seen through the former President; and had sought that Nigerians did not give him a chance. He recounted how he told Nigerians that Buhari would not do well; and maintained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would deliver on his campaign promises.
The PDP bigwig, however, insisted that he would be the first person to speak against President Tinubu, if he fails to deliver on his campaign promises. He maintained that he is not afraid to speak to power; as he recounted how he constantly slammed Muhammadu Buhari for lack of performance. He insisted that he would not hesitate to do same to President Tinubu if he fails to deliver.
Fayose went further to indirectly reveal that he worked against Atiku Abubakar. According to him, he joined G-5 Governors on the PDP platform to ensure that a Southern Candidate became President.
