Dr Dk Olukoya, the founder and presiding General Overseer of Yaba based Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in the video of a message shared on his official Facebook page, has revealed what the men folks should do, instead of divorcing their wives.
According to the cleric, he has revealed in his words, from 18:41 to 19:47 of the video thus; “The world we live in does not have the problem of a woman, instead, it is that of a Man. Hence, instead of saying you want to divorce (the woman) your wife before your life can move on, you should instead, declare to yourself, Mr Man wake up, and get your senses back. Divorce is not an option”.
According to the cleric; “divorce and separation opens up a chain of highly charged negative reactions, in which, no man can foretell or understand its devastating end. Presently, in the world we live in, there is a decline in father’s influence, in a home. Only a few households could boast of having a father, and a mother in their homes. A lot of homes are being maintained by single mothers only. As a result of this, there is an increase in crime, increase in school indiscipline among children and youths; there is also a decline in health and problems with delinquency”.
As revealed by the cleric; ” The present-day failed parenting isn’t limited to this period—also, in the scriptures, we have an example of Noah and Lot, they are both examples of failed fathers—they lose out woefully in the proper care of their children with proper home training. As a believer, you are to compare and contrast both biblical examples of fathers, to see how they failed in their parenting”.
“As a believer, you must see a good example from the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as he spoke to rivers, trees, Satan, and wrought many miracles, you must also form the habit of speaking positively to yourself to establish a great change in your life”.……Continue Reading………
