A Nigerian pharmacist and a politician , Mazi Samuel Iheanyichukwu Ohuabunwa has said that the lack of cooperation among the South East governors over time is truly regrettable, and now we find ourselves in a state of distress akin to crying orphans.

He also lament that the prevailing absence of a unified front has left the region in a state of discontent and vulnerability. He made this statement during a private chat with some Igbo businessmen in Lagos

In his own words, Mazi Samuel Ohuabunwa said “it is regrettable that the South East governors have over time refused to work together. Nevertheless there is a belief that through effective coordination and cooperation, they can ensure sufficient security and establish rail lines across all five states in the Southeast.

In a heartfelt plea, the politician emphasized the urgent need for the governors to set aside political party affiliations and divisions, focusing instead on advancing the region as a whole.
