In an interview with Arise Tv , he claimed that the South East should have been given the presidency without any debate. He firmly asserted that throughout the past few years, the Igbos have been underrepresented in political positions.
We have been whining about the shortcomings and poor performance of the previous administration, he remarked. But what we’re really saying is that a sizable portion of the nation has been underserved. We should be upfront if we do not subscribe to United Nigeria. The Igbos deserve to be President, thus we cannot discriminate against them. We backed Peter Obi because of this. The Nigerian constitution, which we ought to have accepted without question, serves as its foundation. The philosophy that unites us as Nigerians must be followed.
