Two people were killed and five others injured in an Ondo accident.

The Ondo State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has reported that a tragic accident occurred on Friday night in the Olokuta area along the Akure-Ondo road, resulting in the loss of two lives and injuries to five others. The Sector Commander, Mr. Ezekiel SonAllah, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday.

The accident, which took place at approximately 5:48 p.m., involved six male adults and one female adult. Tragically, two male adults lost their lives at the scene of the accident, while four male adults and one female adult sustained injuries. The deceased individuals have been taken to the Ondo State Specialist Hospital morgue in Akure, and the vehicles involved have been handed over to the police.

Mr. SonAllah urged all motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, emphasizing that violators would face arrest and prosecution.
