A witness, Mr Lawrence Bayode, has reportedly informed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Abuja, that on the 1st of March, when the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election, that not all the results have been uploaded on the INEC IReV portal.

Speaking further, the witness also informed the court that he personally supervised the configuration of the devices used during the conduct of the election, noting that there were no human interference frustrating the upload of the polling unit results on the election day, Arise Television reported.

Mr Bayode went on and made it known that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, never filed a report on the purported glitch on the server on the election day.

On the other hand, the lawyer to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Chris Uche, SAN, disclosed that the European Union Observers final report was tendered and admitted by the court as evidence, noting that a director who came from the INEC read out the findings in that report.

Mr Chris Uche went on and noted that according to the EU Election Observers, the just concluded presidential election failed below expectation and that only 31 per cent of what was reported during the election was mathematically accurate, describing the development as a good one for the PDP.

It should be recalled that PDP and the Labour Party are presently in court, challenging the conduct of the just concluded presidential election, on the bases that the election was marred by irregularities and rigging. Be it as it may, Nigerians are waiting for the court to take their decision.
