TRENDING VIDEO: 23-year-old video of Tinubu promising Nigerians ‘renewed hope’ resurrected

President Bola Tinubu has got many talking after a 23-year-old video of him promising Nigerians ‘renewed hope’ sufaced.

In the video making rounds, Tinubu was heard speaking about ‘renewed hope’ a slogan he adopted during his presidential campaign in 2023.

Tinubu served as governor of the state of Lagos from 1999 to 2007. During his tenure, a video of him addressing Lagosians in 2000, showed how young Tinubu tried to convince the residents of his government’s ability to resolve issues.

“In the spirit of a new dawn of renewed hope, our government understand your problem, we share your plight and identify your aspirations. We promise you that we shall respond positively to all your needs,” Tinubu said.
