Chelsea bid for Vlahovic rejected
Italian news outlet Corriere della Sera has revealed that Chelsea made their first offer of €60 million (£51.5 million) for Dusan Vlahovic. However, Juventus, Vlahovic’s current club, rejected the bid. The Turin-based outfit is holding out for a substantial fee of £77 million to consider parting ways with the 23-year-old Serbian forward. Barcelona set to sign Arda Guler
Arsenal are set to miss out on Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler. Mundo Deportivo report on Barcelona agreeing to pay the 18-year-old’s £15m release clause over instalments and loan him back to Fenerbahce for a year after sporting director Deco flew in for talks last week. It is suggested that Guler wants to join the Catalans this summer but will now go along with their plan of gaining further experience in Istanbul.
