Man United submit €45m bid for Onana
Manchester United have tabled their first bid for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Red Devils have submitted an offer worth €40m plus €5m in bonuses for the Cameroon international. It has been widely reported that the Red Devils have been in negotiations with the Serie A side for the transfer of the goalkeeper. As David de Gea’s future at Old Trafford hangs in the balance, Erik ten Hag quickly turned his attention to signing Onana and now the Reds have made their first major move.
Osimhen dropped hint on his future
Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen, has revealed a major development regarding his future at Napoli, as the club reportedly offers him a staggering ₦6.3 billion salary in a bid to fend off interest from top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen, one of United’s striker transfer targets, has hinted he would be happy to stay with Napoli, remarking “…there’s no better place to be than this place. I am so happy I made the right choice by coming here.”
Chelsea ready £17m bid for Matheus Franca
Chelsea cannot stop signing wonderkids. According to Vene Casagrande, with the Angelo Gabriel being wrapped up this week, the club will then turn attentions to Flamengo for midfielder Matheus Franca. Talks have already begun a few days ago with Chelsea prepared to pay £17million and the Brazilian club wanting closer to £20m. Newcastle failed with an approach earlier this year for the 19-year-old, who already has 50 games under his belt and nine goals.
Xhaka close to Arsenal exit
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is edging closer to joining Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of just over £21m, according to football.london. The Gunners anchor reportedly settled on personal terms with Leverkusen back in May, with the move set to be officially confirmed over the coming days.
