An aide to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala has issued an advice to President Bola Tinubu as he prepares to name his cabinet.
Bwala said if former governors constitute more than 10 per cent of Tinubu’s cabinet, then he has no plans for Nigeria.
He noted that 90 percent of former governors in Nigeria failed while they were in office.
Tweeting, Bwala charged Tinubu to inject new faces into his cabinet if he wants to move Nigeria forward.
He wrote: “If the names of former governors in his cabinet constitute more than 10 percent of the whole, then we would know he doesn’t have plans for Nigeria.
“Firstly, 90 percent of former governors in Nigeria have failed in governing their states where they commanded absolute powers.

Amid controversy surrounding Ejimeme Joy Mmesoma’s results, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has barred her from sitting for the examination for three years.
Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
According to him, the Board stands by its decision that the result being paraded by the candidate is fake.
Recall that Mmesoma claimed that she scored 362, but JAMB refuted it, noting that she scored 249.
The issue generated divergent views on social media; however, JAMB said Mmesoma had committed a weighty infraction.
“The Board would like to reassure Nigerians that its system was neither tampered with nor compromised as the candidate simply falsified a copy of a result slip of a candidate named ‘Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle’, who sat the UTME in 2021 and scored 138.

Former Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Sani Yerima, says President Bola Tinubu has asked him to broker peace in Zamfara State.
Yerima disclosed this while speaking with state house correspondents after he met with Tinubu on Monday.
Zamfars is one of the most troubled states in the North West region as bandits and kidnappers are making life hell for residents.
On the political front, there is a rift between Governor Dauda Lawal and his predecessor, Bello Matawalle.
The Zamfara government said it recovered 40 official vehicles from Matawalle after the police conducted a raid on his residences in his hometown.
Governor Lawal had accused Matawalle of looting the government house.
Yerima said plans are underway to ensure that the crisis is settled.
He said, “You see, the issue of Zamafara like you rightly said, I’m now a father in Zamfara. Even Mr President, in my interaction this afternoon, has requested me to put my best to ensure that there’s stability in the state and that is what we are doing already.
“By the grace of God, we will come together and you will see that all the crises that are going on will be over.
