President Bola Tinubu on Sunday afternoon returned to Abuja from Lagos, thirteen days after he left to attend the Summit on New Global Financing Pact in Paris, the capital of France.

Recall that the President left Abuja on June 20 to participate in the Summit on New Global Financing Pact in Paris, the capital of France.

On Tuesday, June 27, he travelled back to Nigeria but made a quick stop in Lagos to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir holiday at his Ikoyi house. According to Vanguard.

President Tinubu attended the New Global Financing Pact ceremony in Paris when he was out of Abuja. On the margins of the major event, he also attended numerous additional diplomatic gatherings.

While in Paris, he met with Presidents Emmanuel Macron of France at the Elysée, Alain Berset of Switzerland at the Palais Brongniart, Patrice Talon of the Benin Republic, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala of the World Trade Organisation, and Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina of the African Development Bank.

Additionally, he met with Prof. Benedict Oramah, President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim), Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

On Saturday, June 24, he travelled privately from Paris to London, the UK, where he met with former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In addition to celebrating Eid el-Kabir with other Muslims while in Lagos, he also met with Guinea-Bissau’s president, Umaro Sissoco Embalo.

At around 2:30 pm, he touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
