Tinubu Reacts As Train and BRT Bus Collides in Lagos

Those who died at the scene have been evacuated to the morgue, while those that sustained injuries were taken to the Lagos State Teaching Hospital.
In a statement via Twitter, the former governor of the state expressed concern for everyone affected by the tragic incident.
Tinubu also promised to offer support where necessary to ensure that the survivors and others involved in the accident receive the best care.
The statement reads: “I offer my sincere condolences to the victims and families affected by the gory incident involving a train and a bus in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.
“I am praying for all, including those who died and those who sustained injuries in the incident.
“My thoughts are with them and with the Lagos State Government, even as I continue to follow the emergency response efforts closely and offer support, where necessary, to ensure that survivors and others involved receive the best care.”
