The Spokesperson of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo appeared in an interview on Arise TV yesterday where he called out the EFCC for failing to arrest APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu when he allegedly had a bullion bring cash into his compound during an election period. “We must point out this, EFCC has been so quick in doing this but a Bola Ahmed Tinubu carried a Bullion van filled with cash on the eve of an election and publicly had it brought into his compound. The EFCC has not even had the temerity of asking him questions. Do you know what he uses bullion vans for? Tinubu has openly confessed what he uses it for. He told his followers that power is not served a la carte, it’s not served in a restaurant or during breakfast. You fight for it at all costs, you snatch it and grab it. And then you run with it. What exactly do you fight for? Ballot boxes. That’s what he uses the bullion van for, a power grab. Nobody has even bothered to investigate that.”
