During an interview with Arise , Prof. Okey Ikechukwu, a Professor of Strategic Management and Human Capital Development, stated that the notion that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing a lot is because he took over from a man who did nothing. Prof. Ikechukwu stated that former President Muhammadu Buhari was not on the job at all and showed no enthusiasm towards his position when he was occupying the position of the president.

Prof Okey Ikechukwu added that President Tinubu has shown inclusiveness through his appointment as service chief. He, however, disclosed that the president’s inability to address the various issues that have elapsed since the start of his tenure would result in more issues in the future. He commended the removal of subsidies but equally urged the president to provide palliatives to the people so as to assuage the situation.

According to him, “A sense of inclusivity and equity, yes.
