Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central has taken to his verified Twitter page to react as protesters storm the EU office in Abuja, rejecting the election report. 

It was reported that a group of Nigerians under the aegis of the Coalition of Civil Society Organisation and Political Parties for Good Governance (CCSOPPGG), stormed the European Union office in Abuja to protest against its report on the February 25, 2023, presidential election.

It was gathered from the report that the protesters were seen with several placards holding various inscriptions matched through the Central Area to the European Union’s headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory.

While reacting to the report, the outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter to say the protest in front of the EU Embassy in Abuja over the election report was a hollow and futile noises of conscienceless Abuja protest merchants.

According to Shehu Sani, he made it known in his statement by saying they were masquerades of the decadence in Nigeria. 

However, Shehu Sani concluded his statement by saying the EU report was a compass that should guide them to perfect the system of the country. 

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:

“The protest in the front of the EU Embassy in Abuja over the election report is a hollow and futile noises of conscienceless Abuja protest merchants. They are masquerades of the decadence in our country. The EU report is a compass that should guide us to perfect our system.”
