Ted Sanderson, 14, sadly passed away at Woodham Academy in County Durham, on Tuesday and the cause of death is still not yet known, the Mirror reports.
The schoolboy was rushed to James Cook University Hospital, but medics were unable to save his life.
Lynn Wilson, his grandmother, described the moments before a fateful call from his school with the bad news.
Describing the last time she saw him on Tuesday, she said: “He went down the drive. Before he went out I said ‘I love you, have a good day’ and he said ‘I love you nan’.
