Reactions as Ghanian Pastor Apologises over Statement Against Nigerian Church goers
Bishop Sam Owusu went viral on social media for the wrong reasons after a video was shared of him warning his church members against supporting Nigerian pastors.
The cleric lamented over the numerable turn up of about 60,000 people at pastor Jerry Eze’s Nsppd conference which was recently held in Ghana.

He said, “Nigerians are very self-centered people, a Ghanaian pastor cannot breakthrough in Nigeria… You can only preach in their churches but if you open your own, they’ll give you three months and they’ll leave you”
Serious backlash followed his statement, which led him to publish an apology video where he said,
“It was never my intention to create division. I have received a lot of Nigerians in my church here in Ghana and I have been a blessing to them as well. I condemn such acts and I apologize”
