Prophet Drowned During Picnic Held At Lagos Beach

A prophet, named Oriyomi Remilekun, of the white garment church, and said to be a resident of Lagos State has allegedly drowned during a beach fun-seeking hangout in the Ajah Area of the State on this year’s Valentine’s Day celebration.


According to Punch, Prophet Oriyomi led some youthful members of his church to the Avista Beach on Saturday, February 17, to celebrate the Valentine’s Day.

Also, a source stated that the youths, 16 in number, of the church parish at Gbagada were on a planned Valentine’s Day love feast at the Avista Beach Resort………………..CONTINUE READING

The source further said that it was when they prepared to leave at about 9:00 PM that they discovered that Prophet Oriyomi was missing. He added that when his girlfriend was asked about his whereabouts, she said that he gave her his phone, went in and promised to return.

Narrating further, the source said that the group later returned to the beach in search of him, but still could not find him before they eventually left.

The source, in continuation, said that when they still could not find the Prophet on Sunday, they reported the incident to the police.

However, a body which which was suspected to that of the deceased cleric was said to have been later found at the Baracuda Beach Resort on Sunday afternoon.
