Population of Muslims in Israel is 1.7m, representing 18% of their population- MURIC to Pst Adeboye
Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Director of MURIC, shared this information in a statement issued on Saturday. He did so in reaction to Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s recent remarks concerning the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Furthermore, MURIC emphasized that the Christian population in Palestine and Israel is relatively small, with only 185,000 Christians, constituting just 1.9% of Israel’s total population of 9.3 million. Speaking further, Professor Akintola urged Pastor Adeboye to pray for the failure of oppressors between Israel and Palestine over the ongoing war in Gaza. He also made it known that Nigerians should realise that the conflict between Israel and Palestine is not rooted in religion but in land-grabbing.
In addition, he urged Pastor Adeboye “pray for an end to slavery and apartheid in the Middle East and in other parts of the world.” He also urged him to pray for peace in Nigeria and the world as a whole.
