Police confirms killing in Dominion Assembly Benin
Some gunmen, suspected to be assassins, have invaded God’s Vineyard Grace Dominion Assembly in Benin, Edo State and killed the wife of the presiding pastor, Rev. Samuel Chinyereugo.
We gathered that the gunmen stormed the church at Upper Lawani Street, New Benin, Benin City around 7:36 pm and opened fire on the pastor and his wife, Peace who died almost on the spot.
The gunmen trailed the pastor and his wife to the church, overtook them and opened fire on the pastor and his wife.
One of the assailants was said to have smatched the cross pendant on the neck of the pastor, while two others opened fire, killing the wife……………………………..CONTINUE READING
We gathered that an assistant pastor including the Samuel Cjhinyereugo were also hit by bullets and were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Edo State Police command, Chidi Nwabuzor who confirmed the incident said no arrest has been made.
