Peter Obi’s Aide, Oseloka H Obaze has stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, must be held accountable.
Oseloka made the statement after going through the final report of the European Union observer that was made public a few days ago
Before making his comment, he shared some parts of the report on his official Twitter page where the EU said that the independent national Electoral Commission, INEC, failed to explain what caused the failures on 25th of February
The European Union in the report, further stated that by the time of the declaration of the presidential results, one quarter of the results were still missing on IREV and that a significant percentage of the forms uploaded on the IREV, often needed for comparison with manual results, were not legible
After posting part of the report, he concluded by saying that the electoral body must be held accountable
