Peter Obi Reacts As Former Ondo Governor, Akeredolu Is Laid To Rest In Owo
The former Governor of Anambra State and 2023 Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has reacted as former and late Ondo Governor, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu is laid to rest today in Owo, Ondo State.
Obi, who took to his official X on Friday, February 23, 2024, to react to the final home rest of late Governor Akeredolu, extended his his condolences to the entire Akeredolu family, the government and good people of Ondo state……………………….CONTINUE READING
The former presidential candidate said further that, in his earlier condolence visit to the family, he shared with them and the nation his deep sense of loss of such an “outstanding leader and patriot,” and that today, as Akeredolu goes home, he renew those sentiments.
Obi said further that, late Akeredolu served the people of Ondo and Nigeria with dedication and commitment.
“With dedication and commitment, he served Ondo State in particular and Nigeria in general. He was not only passionate about better Nigeria but also made visible contributions to the development of our dear nation.” Said, Obi.
Mr Obi added, “May God who is please to call him home at this time, grant his family, the people of Ondo State, and all of us, Nigerians, the fortitude to bear his sad irreparable loss.”
