The PEPC, in its verdict on Wednesday, upheld President Bola Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the February 25 presidential election, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Despite this decision, Atiku, who was the PDP candidate, has firmly contested the judgment and affirmed his intention to take the matter to the Supreme Court.

The statement further highlighted the significance of receiving the CTC promptly, asserting that the PEPC’s delay undermines not only Atiku’s pursuit of justice but also the aspirations of millions of Nigerians. It pointed out the irony in the PEPC’s demand for strict adherence to the court’s timeline, while simultaneously causing a delay in providing the necessary documentation for the appeal process.
