Pastor E.A Adeboye Speaks on Lagos BRT/Train Crash

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has commiserated with families of those whose lives were lost in the accident involving a train and the state government BRT staff in Lagos.

Adeboye in a statement expressed sadness and prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and the quick recovery of those injured in the accident.

“I, personally, feel grieved by the accident that could have been avoided and my heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as those who sustained one degree of injury or the other.

“I pray that the Almighty God will comfort those in sorrow and speedy recovery of the injured.

“Kindly note that our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost their lives, and the entire leadership and people of Lagos State in this period of their grief and loss,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State commissioner for health Prof. Akin Abayomi said on Friday that 32 survivors of the accident have been discharged from different hospitals in the state.
