Rasheed claims that Governor Adeleke has already interacted with numerous groups and associations since taking office and is committed to meeting with stakeholders for the development of the state. He stated that in order to resolve the concerns of the protesting seniors and other groups, the government has organized meetings with them.

The government acknowledges its financial commitments to employees, both active and retired, but due to a lack of funding, it is unable to pay up all past-due salary and pensions at once. Rasheed stressed that although the lack of resources prohibits a speedy full settlement, the government’s commitment to fulfilling these responsibilities remains unchanged.
