Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore has taken to social media to criticize judges, following how a Nigerian tiktoker was sentenced to serve a 3-year jail term few days ago for using the social media space to bully Nollywood veteran actress, Eniola Badmus. He made such criticism on Twitter.

Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State had on Wednesday, arraigned and sentenced tiktoker, Okoye Blessing Nwakego to 3 years imprisonment for calling actress and businesswoman, Eniola Badmus a p*mp.

According to Lindaikejiblog, Okoye Blessing Nwakego was charged to court on two-count charge bordering on cyberstalking, and was sentenced to 1-year imprisonment with an option pay a fine of 50 thousand Naira on count. She was also sentenced to 2 years imprisonment with an option to pay a fine of 100 thousand Naira on count two.

And so following such judgement by the court, former 2023 presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore took to his official Twitter account to react, as he asked if the judges that are treating cases in Lagos State that have not been able to finish corruption cases of politically exposed persons since 2007 could easily jail a tiktoker in a few days?

According to Omoyele Sowore, the judges in Lagos State are jokers, adding that MC Oluomo that cyberstalked an entire ethnic group has not even been arrested or investigated.
