Nollywood actor, attorney, and politician Kenneth Okonkwo responded to Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner on Voter Education/Publicity, on his Twitter page in response to his recent comments regarding the IREV platform in the most recent presidential election.

Festus Okoye reportedly told Channels TV on Thursday that the IREV operated throughout the 2023 elections, with the exception of the presidential vote, according to reports in the media today. He continued by claiming that the IREV gateway was having issues.

He said, in his own words, “I will be lost if you pull me into a digital and technological concerns since I am a lawyer. I don’t object to that. I won’t delve into the uploading issue, whether it was a hardware or software issue, as it is already before the Court.

In reaction, Festus Okoye’s most recent interview, according to Kenneth Okonkwo’s Twitter attack on the Commissioner, shows that the system has been rigged or controlled. He claimed that with so many inept individuals working for INEC, Nigeria’s progress would be extremely difficult.

“I just finished watching Festus Okoye, INEC Commissioner for voter education, on Politics Today, Channels TV, 29th June 2023, at 7pm, and the interview has reinforced the long-held conclusion that INEC manipulated the election to declare their preferred candidate in the presidential results,” he said.

It will be challenging for us to advance Nigeria if INEC is filled with incompetent and dishonest individuals like these. If Adamawa REC is a demon, then INEC’s Abuja leadership is a devil.
