Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has announced plans to deliver around 250 semi-detached and fully detached duplex houses at the President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Estate by the end of 2023. During an inspection of the first phase of the development in Kobape, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun revealed that the project would also feature a recreation park, shopping center, and security post, among other amenities.

Governor Abiodun expressed confidence that a significant number of housing units would be completed by the end of the year, accompanied by the necessary landscaping and furniture to create an ideal living environment. He mentioned that the project was inherited from the previous administration and that the contractor, who had taken legal action against the state government, has been paid off to resolve the dispute.

Furthermore, Governor Abiodun emphasized that his administration has been gradually settling the outstanding amount left unpaid by the previous administration. The project at the PMB Estate is part of the state government’s efforts to provide quality housing for its residents and enhance the living standards of the people in Ogun State.
